Bank Foot to Ingleby Incline Circular
This is a wonderful 6 mile walk from Bank Foot to Ingleby Incline and is near Ingleby Greenhow in the North York Moors. The Cleveland hills and Roseberry Topping can be seen in the far distance.
Ingleby Incline was once the route of an extraordinary railway built in the 1860s. It connected the main railway line at Battersby with the ironstone mines and kilns of Rosedale. A model of the buildings at the top of the Incline is on display - its nickname in the past was 'Siberia'. The route can be walked either way.
