Set in nearly 9,000 acres of rolling Yorkshire countryside, in the heart of the Howardian Hills Area, a designated National Landscape, is the world-famous Castle Howard. A 300-year-old stately house, Estate and family home, it’s just 15 miles north of York but is unlike anywhere else - it truly is a place like no other.

Visitors to Castle Howard can expect to experience dramatic interiors and world-renowned art collections inside the House, extensive woodland walks, temples, lakes and fountains in the Gardens, and an award-winning adventure playground, Skelf Island, perfect for young ones.

Castle Howard has also become a cultural hotspot, and host to arts, music, and sports events, including car shows, concerts, and exhibitions. As a location, its starred as the backdrop to much-loved period films and television series, most notably Bridgerton, Brideshead Revisited and Death Comes to Pemberly, so offers visitors the chance to walk in the footsteps of their favourite characters and take photos in iconic scene locations.
