Great Ayton Christmas Fayre 2021

Sadly, due to the continuing high winds and a power cut affecting the area, Great Ayton Parish Council have made the decision to cancel Great Ayton Christmas Fayre.

Great Ayton Parish Council and event promoter Visit Great Ayton are over-the-moon to announce that Great Ayton Christmas Fayre is making a comeback this November after taking a break in 2020.

Great Ayton Christmas Fayre is all about bringing the community together in festive cheer, promoting the beautiful village of Great Ayton whilst promoting independent businesses and its amazing groups and organisations and warmly welcoming visitors. A must for all the family and your friends! There will be something to suit all ages, the perfect way to start the countdown to Christmas, full of festive fun!

You'll be able to pick up a Christmas gift and stocking filler or two from local businesses and craftspeople whilst enjoying live entertainment. Hot food and drink stands will be available to keep you warm and toasty whilst there will plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy.

Big Christmas lights switch on!

No Christmas Fayre's the same without the big Christmas tree light switch-on! The Christmas tree and lighting are funded by the Parish Council with the assistance of local businesses and tradespeople to put the tree up and install the lights to make sure they are safe and secure.

The Parish Council actively encourage our wonderful High Street businesses to decorate their shop windows and remain open during the fayre (wherever possible) in a festive and truly Great British High Street style!
