Watkins-Wright Great Ayton are going from strength to strength year on year!
Salon manageress, Amelia Herbert, is through to the finals of the Yorkshire Salon Awards 2019 under the "Stylist of the Year" category.
The final will be held at the Royal Armouries Hall, Leeds, on Sunday 10th November. Guests will be treated to a sparkling welcome reception, three-course dinner with wine, celebratory awards presentation and party until close.
Watkins-Wright Great Ayton have a wealth of awards under their belt to date, including the Salon of the Year Awards for 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2018. The team are working as hard as ever to keep the title!
The business started out as "The Cut Club" back in 1988, opened by proprietor Jill. Great Ayton's salon opened in 1994, which has now expanded to five salons located in Boroughbridge, Great Ayton, Kirbymoorside, Knaresborough and Thirsk under the brand of Watkins-Wright Hairdressing and Beauty.

The Great Ayton salon relocated from The Arcade in the village to the High Street in January 2018 and has continued to grow ever since.
The Watkins-Wright brand are finalists not only for "Stylist of the Year", they have been nominated for "Best Salon for Training" and proprietor Jill is finalist for the "Creative Image of the Year".
