The evening received such a great response, which saw the club raising £500.00 towards the new defibrillator.
As part of The Conservative Club defibrillator initiative in partnership with the Big Heart Charity, the club organised a quiz night held down at the Conservative Club on October 9th. The evening received such a great response, which saw the club raising £500.00 towards the new defibrillator. The new defibrillator is to be located at the Conservative Club on the Low Green in Great Ayton. The funds raised from the quiz night see the club's new running total grow to £700.00 - a new defibrillator will cost approximately £2,000.00.
In response to such a successful fundraising event, Ernie Taylor, member of the Conservative Club wished to express thanks to all the local businesses who donated raffle prizes for the evening and to Visit Great Ayton for assisting in promoting their event.
The Conservative Club will be holding another fundraising event for the new defibrillator on Sunday, 20th November 2016 - please see our Visit Great Ayton events pages for further details or follow this link
