Charity gig featuring local musicians raising funds for Teesside Hospice.
On Saturday the 2nd of April, in Stokesley Town Hall, five music groups based in and around Stokesley will be playing for the Teesside Hospice Charity. Some of the groups are supported by the Stokesley u3a and the others come together and enjoy playing their guitars and ukuleles.
There will be two ukulele groups one of them the renowned 'Uketopians', and two guitar groups. There is also an acoustic group with a variety of instruments, such as: clarinet, flute and mandolin.
All the groups are enthusiastic players and really enjoy their once or twice weekly sessions in halls around the area. The music will vary from popular, to folk, to classical and played with enthusiasm.
Doors open: from 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start
Tickets: £5.00 per person. Please note that tickets are limited due to Town Hall restrictions, but there will be some available on the door.
